This is our pooch, Misty. We've had her since she was 4 years old and she is now 13. She's recently been showing signs of aging and of possibly Cushings Disease. The test to confirm it is not within our budget, so we are opting not to have it done. We're pretty sure she has it though, because she has all the symptoms, which are excessive thirst, increased appetite, a pot belly, weakness in the hind legs, listlessness, and frequent urination. (which explains the diapers she wears now) And here I thought my diaper changing days were over!! LOL
There is no cure for Cushings, but her quality of life should not be altered much if untreated.
