Our Christmas was a little different this year. Neither Darla nor Tracie's families were here, so we opened gifts Christmas Eve with just us two and my sister, Beverly. We did spend the afternoon and evening of Christmas Day in Lolo with Tara and her family. Of course we enjoyed a gourmet meal as always. Andrew's pork loin with fig sauce is "out of this world"!
Since last we were in touch, we have a new member of the Plowman Family. Our nephew Antony and his wife, Melissa were blessed with a beautiful baby boy on December 16. For those of you who don't know, Tony is Arlyn's brother Eldon's son. I am sure Eldon and Michele are having a grand time with this little one.
Pearle has begun a new venture. She began going to CURVES a week ago, and is enjoying it so far. Going 3 times a week and cutting down on caloric intake will hopefully lead to a slimmer, healthier 2008. And of course, must get 'in shape' for our upcoming Cruise!
Arlyn's sister, and husband John are flying back to New York this week to consult with her doctors and have some testing done to determine if there is any more they can do to improve her condition. She hasn't progressed as much or as quickly as they had hoped after her spinal surgery last summer. We are trusting God for some answers that will lead to her complete healing.
Please pray for strength, wisdom and healing for all our family when we come to mind.
